Dr. A. K. M. parvej Iqbal

Dr. A.K.M Parvez Iqbal awarded PhD in Automation and Control Engineering from University Putra Malaysia (UPM), Malaysia in 2011. He did his MSc in Perceptual Robotica in 2003 from University Putra Malaysia (UPM) after finishing his BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) in 1997.

Before joining here as full-time faculty in IUBAT in 2018, he held a position of Assistant Professor in National Energy University, Malaysia. He worked for more than 12 years as a Teaching and 6 years as Research Assistance in three different universities in Malaysia such as UPM, ITP, UNISEL and UNITEN. He published a number of articles in ISI and SCOPUS-indexed journals and international conferences. He also taught various subjects such as Theory of Machines, Thermodynamics, Statics, Fluid mechanics, Robot Dynamics etc.

Besides this, he also supervised undergraduate and postgraduate students. In addition, he secured two external research grants such as ERGS and FRGS funden by Malaysian Education Ministry. He has three patent files of his MSc, and Phd projects. His fields of interest are mechanical system design, permanent Magnet linear machines and automation.
