Md. Shamim Rayhan

Md. Shamim Rayhan is currently pursuing his PhD at Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET). He received his B.Sc. (2017) in mechanical engineering from the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) with a CGPA of 3.90, and he completed his M.Sc. (2023) in mechanical engineering from Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET) with a GPA of 3.50, and he also obtained a GPA of 5.00 on both SSC and HSC.

Before joining as a faculty member at IUBAT, he held a position of assistant professor and head (April 2023-July 2024) in the Mechanical Engineering department of Anwer Khan Modern University, and before that, he also worked at City University in the department of Mechanical Engineering as a lecturer and coordinator (January 2018-April 2023). His research interests are computational fluid dynamics (CFD), flow control, biofuel, and composite materials, and he also has some research articles on the relevant fields.
